What is Elevate?

Elevate is Canada’s largest technology and innovation festival. We’re a community driven not-for-profit that brings together emerging and scaling startups, forward-thinking corporates, academics, ambitious talent and generous partners to raise the profile of the Canadian innovation ecosystem.

Where is Elevate Located?

Elevate is spread out over more than 250 venues throughout the downtown Toronto area. Additionally, over 200 participating companies will be opening their doors to festival goers on September 27th as part of Elevate Talent.

When do passes go on sale?

Passes are already on sale! You can purchase your pass here.

Can I purchase a pass for one day only?

Unfortunately we do not offer single-day passes. In order to attend our festival you would need to purchase an all inclusive festival pass.

What Does my Pass Entitle Me To?

Is Elevate an all-ages event?

Yes, Elevate is an all ages event. However, youth below the ages of 16 are required to have a chaperone present at all times.  Some activations will serve alcohol and will be strictly 19+. We’ll mark it up in the app.

Is There an Event Schedule Available?

Yes – there is a preliminary event schedule available which can be found here. There will be a more comprehensive event schedule available on our website in the coming weeks.

How Can My Company Get Involved?

There are several ways for your company to get involved in Elevate 2018:

  • If you are interested in becoming an Elevate Partner, please apply here.
  • If you are interested in speaking at Elevate, please fill out our Speaker Submission Form here.
  • If you are interested in becoming a Media Partner, contact our Associate Director of Partnerships, Andrew Budd (andrew@elevatetechfest.com).
  • If you are a startup, we have a number of opportunities for you to source potential funding, meet with potential buyers and investors, and get your name out. Click here to learn more.

How can I volunteer?

Elevate needs your help! If you are interested in volunteering, please apply here.

What if I need a formal invitation letter in order to attend?

It is standard for some countries to require an official invitation/confirmation from a host organization in order for someone from that country to attend an event in another country. If you or your company are traveling from one of these countries, please reach out to our customer service team at info@elevatetechfest.com.

Do I need to register or RSVP to any events within the festival?

Once you have purchased and registered your pass, you will not need to register to attend any Elevate events. The only part of the festival that requires you to RSVP is the NewCo component of Elevate Talent. RSVP confirmation for NewCo will begin in September.

Can I refund my pass?

Once you have purchased your Elevate Festival Pass, you are not eligible for a refund. If you wish to change the name on your Elevate Festival Pass, you will be able to do so until Tuesday, September 18th at 5PM. For any additional ticket-related inquiries, please contact tickets@elevatetechfest.com.

Do i need to register to any events within the festival?

The only part of the festival that requires registration is the NewCo portion of Elevate Talent. Once you have purchased your Elevate Festival Pass, you will receive a separate email with instructions to sign up for NewCo. Please keep in mind that registration for this event will be on a first come first serve basis.
